Exploring Christianity at Cornerstone

Are you interested in finding out more about the Christian faith? If you or someone you know would like to investigate Christianity there are a number of ways you can do that.

Sunday services

Come along our Sunday services at 10:30am to hear more about what Christians believe. Services are currently available via live stream.

Meeting with someone to read the Bible

A great way to investigate more about Christianity is to meet with someone in the church to read through an eye witness account of Jesus’ life and to ask any questions you’d like. If you’d like to meet with someone, please email hello@cornerstonestirling.org

Reading the Bible in a group

We occasionally run courses to explore Christianity. These are a great place to learn more about Christianity in an informal setting. Each week we’ll have tea and coffee and look together at one of the eyewitness accounts of Jesus’ life. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible or Christianity to come to the course. Just come along and ask any questions you’d like, or just sit and listen.

Reading the Bible in easy English

If English is your second language, there is also an opportunity to study the Bible in easy English. If you would like to read the Bible with someone via video call please get in touch.

Accepting Jesus

Perhaps you have already explored the message of Christianity and have discovered Jesus for yourself. If you want to accept him as your saviour, here is a prayer you could use.

Lord Jesus, for too long I’ve kept you out of my life. I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. No longer will I close the door when I hear you knocking. By faith I gratefully receive your gift of salvation. I am ready to trust you as my Lord and Saviour. Thank you, Lord Jesus, for coming to earth. I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank you for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe your words are true. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Saviour. Amen.

If you’ve prayed that prayer, please do tell us! We would be so excited to hear from you.
